December 2025 Update

Consultation has now closed on the Working Draft Structure Plan (19 December 2025).

Thank you to everyone who provided feedback to help shape a Draft Structure Plan for Nikenbah and Dundowran.

Council appreciates the time and local knowledge shared by all stakeholders - whether you completed a survey, made a written submission, attended a workshop or shared your comments through the interactive maps - thank you.

What happens next

Council is now:

• Reviewing feedback received during the consultation
• Considering technical advice and special investigations
• Developing the structure plan for the Nikenbah and Dundowran areas

The next stage of the project will involve:

• A draft structure plan
• Progressing Local Area Planning
• Development related Planning Scheme updates
